MISSION
TBAN, Formerly The Tampa AIDS Network (TAN)
is a community organization which provides prevention education, emotional and physical support services
and advocacy on behalf of all persons affected by HIV disease.

Case Management- Serving more than 2,500 Clients each month, linking them with
Health Care, psychosocial and other services.
Supplemental Food Pantry Program-Located at Corporate
Square, Building 100, this facility serves more than 2,000 individuals each month and gives clients
access to items that food stamps do not provide for, including personal care and hygiene items. Resembling

Mental Health Services-Providing free counseling for those infected/affected by HIV/AIDS. Open to
anyone including couples, families and children. Referrals are made through Director Of Mental Health
Services 813-769-5180
TAN's Housing Program-Started in 1992 it assists more than 400 clients
and their families each month. It includes 54 subsidized housing units, rental, utility and emergency
assistance.
Outreach and Prevention Education-Reaches more than 40,000 men, women and children
each year and includes:

AIDS Resource Library - includes information on
HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment
Volunteer Services-TAN was founded by volunteers in May of 1985.
Orientations are held:
2nd Tuesday of each month, 7 - 9 p.m.
North Tampa Location.
