Who Are We?
queertampa.com is a free service to the glbt community of Tampa Bay. Our goal
is to provide a one stop portal site linking all of the resources that our community has to offer including
news, entertainment and support.
We are pleased to donate back to the community in funds or services
a minimum of 10% of our revenue. Our policy of giving back to the community includes not-for-profit listings
in "Groups & Organizations" and "Community Calendar" free of charge. Likewise, we are highly involved
in the promotion of local and statewide charitable events including a host of HIV/AIDS fundraisers.

The production and upkeep of a site of this magnitude is not any easy or inexpensive task. Our efforts
are entirely supported by the local glbt supportive business community. The support of those efforts
can come in many forms including in-kind arrangements. In addition to our many advertising options,
we offer full service web and graphic design and marketing for your small business needs.
Statistics
queertampa.com averages over 14,000 visitors each week. To you as a sponsor, an even more important
number is the number of "accesses" or pages viewed. This number gives a more accurate understanding
of the number of times your message or name may be viewed. The following chart represents the number
of pages viewed per week multiplied by 1000. Our current weekly average is well over 170,000 and peak
months have seen over one million! Our statistics are independently monitored by "Hostway" and "Webusage
7.0". We encourage all of our friends to be wary of purchasing space on sites that can not verify their
statistics via independent monitoring.

In addition to the high exposure of website placement, queertampa.com
offers the Bay Area's largest
glbt e-mailing list, affording the opportunity to send your message
directly into local homes. Many sponsors choose to offer a regular "queertampa.com discount" to encourage
the use of their services by our "members".
Another highly popular feature is the "Queer Tampa
Classifieds", an ebay style, self-service classified section offering a community forum to post items
for sale and photo personal ads for the lovelorn. Commercial postings in this section are reserved for
our sponsors.
We welcome the inclusion of informational articles about sponsor businesses and
special events. Photos taken "Around The Bay" by "The Pictureman" are featured on our Main Page. Those
taken at sponsor locations include the sponsor's name.
Sponsors are permitted and encouraged to
use the queertampa.com logo in other advertisements to point out that they are making a valued resource
possible. The added benefit to this is that the gay "rag" or bar flyer may be long gone, but your customers
will always remember that your message can be easily located at www.queertampa.com!
